I confess this in not the most important post I have ever written. But I am in the process of catching up with my Podcasts and loved Lucy Kellaway’s January post on the FT about the value of eating breakfast at home, lunch with a knife and fork at a table and your tea or coffee from a nice cup.
I promised myself that I would not eat my lunch at my desk when I turned 40. A decade later I still don’t manage to do it consistently but there is no doubt that apart from avoiding crumbs in your key board the benefits to your health and mental well being are real.
